Tools needed :
1.    Intel USB Driver for Android (Download Here)

2.    ADB Fastboot Tool (Download Here)

3.    Recovery Image Zenfone 5

4.    Download 4.3 Jellybean Firmware Zenfone 5

       Select-> Other > Firmware>

Instructions:

  •   Install Intel USB Driver and Extract ADB Fastboot Tool
  •   Copy Recovery Image to ADB Folder
  •   Extract downloaded 4.3 Jellybean Firmware and Copy to ADB Folder
  •   Turn On USB Debugging (Tutorial Here:  http://www.asus.com/zentalk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5590&page=1&extra=#pid22824)
  •   Connect Zenfone with USB Cable to Computer/PC
  •   OpenADB Folder and Open Command Prompt (Shift + right Click > Open Command Here)
  •   Type: adb  reboot-bootloader
  •    It will reboot the phone in bootloader/droidboot mode and enter fastbootType: fastboot flash recovery file.img (file.img = adjust thefilename,   recovery       image that you download earlier)
  •   Then go to ADB: choose Recovery when android Belly up icon appears press volume down + volume up and Choose update from ADB
  •   Type adb sideload file.zip (file.zip = adjust the filename, asus zenfonefirmware that you download earlier), and wait until complete
  •    Do a Factory Reset and Wipe Partition cache.
  •    Reboot.
